F2 My Equilibrium State

Purpose:

Identify your routines and recognize your "normal."

Explanation:

To be able to recognize changes in ourselves, we must be able to recognize our "normal" - our equilibrium state. Our normal is unique to us and includes our routines, moods, and familiar actions. Awareness and acceptance of our normal puts us in a strong position when trying to improve ourselves and interact with others.

Equilibrium - Normal

When thinking about our normal, we should consider the things we do, the places we go, and the people we interact with. Here are some examples of things to consider when trying to identify and understand your normal:

  1. Your family and social situation

  2. Your job or daily activities

  3. Your hobbies

  4. Your friends and colleagues

  5. The places you regularly visit

Once you have an idea of your normal, you can begin to think more deeply about changes in yourself and your environment. Remember, what is normal for you is unique to you. Understanding that different people have and experience different normals is an invaluable asset.
