Awareness and practical wisdom training are essential components of child development. Although these skills are important, they are often not prioritized after normal development milestones have been reached by 5.5 years old.

Self awareness and practical wisdom allow children to become better decision makers, provide them with the tools to be future leaders, team players, and more secure human beings.

From the age of 7, most children will possess the concrete operational skills to understand concepts such as time and quantity, and by the time they are 11, most will possess the capacity to think theoretically, use abstract logic, and create strategies and plans. It is imperative that from these ages, children are taught to develop these skills in a structured and effective way.
At Senschen, we believe that the development of these essential skills should not be left to chance. The early years of a child's development are critical and important in their future lives and well-being.

It is common and correct for parents to prioritize reading, writing, speaking, numeracy, and literacy, however, awareness and social skills also require the same level of attention. The training offered at Senschen ensures that these critical skills are developed in a structured and effective way.
Some children will develop some of these skills naturally because of their individual circumstances, such as having siblings or attending kindergarten, however, because they do not work through a structured program, the degree of skill development is variable.

Children who have unfavourable circumstances, such as being an only child or having learning differences, may take longer to develop these skills and some may never acquire them. It is essential for children to learn and develop their awareness to become smarter, more well-adjusted, and confident human beings.

Awareness and practical wisdom training are essential parts of child development. They should not and cannot be ignored.
